CLEAN WITH BRIGHT!!!!

Staying on point with our trends, let's look at merging CLEAN WITH BRIGHT!!!!......

What in the world am I talking about you ask!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Well one of the biggest trends for this season is the NEON/COLOUR BLOCKING trend..people are embracing colour like crazy and kudos to that....

.....But many still have a little battle when it comes too what makeup they should wear with this trend..some try to match neon on the eyes, some loud lips, even cheeks...YIKES!!!.....

SO LADIES LISTEN UP....Keep it CLEAN...SIMPLE...Think less is more on the makeup because you are already popping with colour with your outfit....

Pick your best feature and show it off..If that's your eyes then pop some lashes on and nice clean liner...If it's your lips a light wash of colour...If it's your bone structure give it a nice wash of apricot, coral or bronze which will make it stand out with out being too loud (keep the peaches, pinks and plum shades for another occasion)....trust me on this one...

Remember ladies it should be all about having fun and experimenting to achieve your desired look...

FULL BROWS VS THE 'SCOUSE BROW'.....

So we are seeing that the full, nicely shaped, natural brows are back....*big hurrayyyy*....in my opinion nothing looks more sexier than a well groomed eyebrow, it lifts the face and brings the look together..Absolutely gorgeous for the season....

....But of late we have been seeing the rise of  'The Scouse Brow'...What is this you ask???..

WELLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BRIEF HISTORY:  The Scouse Brow was originated in Liverpool, England by a popular reality tv show called 'Desperate Scousewives'..*blink blink* yes the show is real...where the women on the show had eyebrows that were stencilled in with a shade that was much darker than their natural hair colour, and was very thick (three most important traits of The Scouse Brow)......

And so somehow this has caught the attention of the fashion world because we have been seeing adaptations on the runway for Fashion Week and other runway shows recently....

........And now the look has been tweaked for everyday wear...These celebs have been rumoured to have fallen in love with the look..

So there you have it ladies and gents brows are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so whether you wanna go "EL NATURALE" or "SCOUSE IT UP - THE UPDATED VERSION" is all up to you...

So go on out..grab some brow powder, brow pencils or brow gel and experiment a bit with your brows....it all about having fun and trying something new...

'12 SPRING TRENDS.....THE LIPS!!!

Over the next couple weeks I want to talk about some of my absolute favourite trends for spring ’12….Today we gonna look at couple of my FAVORITE makeup trends…..

So here goes…..

I am absolutely in love with the matte pastel lip trend namely the pinks and oranges…they are everywhere!!! Now for these lips to stand out in my opinion it is best to go with minimal makeup on the rest of the face....

Now you can grab a few products to achieve these gorgeous lips. OCC makes some AMAZINGG!!! shades and for this season has released some cool pastel shades....Here are a few colours I have in my kit I think would work as pretty shades for the season.

The colours are Beta, Trollop and Anime...and you can wear them as intense as they are or smudge on a bit just for a wash of colour.....

MAC has 2 wonderful shades I also wanted to bring to your attention....Girl About Town and Pink Nouveau...that can definitely help pull these looks off.....

These looks are all about having fun and keeping it simple...so go out, pull a few shades and have fun...

I HAVE DONE IT!!!!!!!

So I have officially done it....CREATED MY VERY OWN BLOG!!!...*yay*....

I must say I am very excited....here am free to voice my opinion on the things that I like..MAKEUP, HAIR, FASHION..can a girl ask for anything more..wait don't answer that!!!!...

But yes I am ready to rock with this, I'm planning on getting down into makeup products, events, some looks, behind the scenes madness....
Talk about hair... for those of you who don't already know I am a HAIR EXTENSION JUNKIE!!! so we gonna get into that and then some....
Fashion..what's trending...what I like...where I shop...gonna see if we can get to meet some designers from my neck of the woods, TRINIDAD and who knows maybe some Regionally and Internationally known ones as well......
